Klippers Lose In Yorkton 5-4

Sorry I am a bit late on this. Very tired this morning as we arrived in Kindersley at 4 am , and seeing as I work the morning show at the station, I didn't get any sleep and headed right into work. So I am a bit sleepy today sort of like the Klippers last night, haha just kidding but the Klippers didn't play their best.

The Klippers came out firing in the first period taking a 2 goal lead in to the 2nd period. After the first , I have no idea what exactly happened, but the Klippers just kind of fell apart. I know the players were hungry and wanted to beat Yorkton to get revenge from last seasons playoff game, but after the first that really didn't seem like the case. Yorkton certainly out worked the Klippers in the second and third periods. It was a tough result for the Klippers and they battled back after a few goals they gave up on the penalty kill. In the third period of play we started to see all sorts of line combinations. The only line that stuck together for the whole game was Mysiorek-Hoffman-Duzan line, which continues to play well for the Klippers.

There isn't a whole lot more to say about the game , I know most of the players were upset , Larry was upset and the Klippers could of definately won that game.

Kiley Long was in the line up for back to back games , I thought he played well for the limited ice time he had. Also Tanner Kissick made his SJHL debut and also held his own. It must of been tough for him without getting any game action yet this season.  Both youngsters played hard all game.

Should also mention that the Klippers will get back Haaf and Wasden back for their home opener so that will be a huge boost. It will be a interesting few practices for the Klippers heading into their home opener on the 2nd. Could see totally different line combos.

Should also mention that the Klippers will be facing off against the Kindersley celebrities this evening on main street. Ill be taking on the boys on the celebrity side, and Taylor Wasden informed me to keep my head up. There might be a few scraps all in fun though , should be a good one. 530 - 616 main street Kindersley if you want to check it out.

Check back later today for some of my goal calls from the games this weekend. Should be up shortly, as well as a few interviews.
