Patrick Johnson Called Up and Goal Trade

Goalie Trade

Firstly The Klippers have acquired goaltender Alexandre Peck from the BCHL's Cowichan Capitals. I know the deal has been finalized but unsure for what. I know its not for either Gourley or for Beau Taylor.

I am going to chat with Larry shortly to get the full scoop.

He also wont be made available this weekend and will likely dress back at home on Tuesday.

Temporary Goalie Update

The Klippers have called up Patrick Johnson from the Saskatoon Contacts Midget AAA squad and he will arrive in Melfort tonight to back up McDonald on the bench.

Patrick was very impressive at camp before heading back to AAA.

Brett Penner Update

I can confirm that he has quit the team. This came as a huge surprise to many of the players as he attended video last night and didnt say nothing at that time. I even had a chat with him in the afternoon at the rink and he didnt say nothing to me.

Apparently he didnt like it here and that is why he has quit.
