Overall not a good game for the Klippers. After a dominating performance against Nipawin the other night I thought the Klippers would look alot better than they did tonight. The team did look better near the end of the hockey game , but an awful first period left them in to big of a whole to dig themselves out of.
The main concern for me tonight was the play in their own end. Down low the Klippers were getting out played , out hustled and were unable to clear pucks from in front of the net.
Alexandre Peck didn't have the best first period in his Klippers debut in net , but he was hung out to dry on numerous occasions that left him no chance on a couple of those goals. In the second and third period Alexandre really started to settle in and looked good. Tough to judge him after one game, we will see how he fairs on the weekend road trip.
Speaking of the road trip in my mind this was one the Klippers needed to win at home before heading out on the road for 3 straight games.
I will have more up tomorrow aswell as an interview with Larry Wintoneak.

Well a bit of a better period for the Klippers based soley on the fact that they didn't give up any goals.
Overall though they still got outplayed badly. The shots are 28-14 after 2.
The one positive you could take out that period was that the Klippers were good on the penalty kill.
Taylor Wasden got into his first fight of the season. He landed some heavy rights on Ben Bula. Near the end Bula threw a few on Wassy and tackled him down to the ice. Overall though Wasden got the better of Bula.
Klippers need to bare down, they had a ton of chances in the first , but the chances were limited in the 2nd. We will see what the third brings in this contest.

Klippers down 4-1 after 20 minutes.
Shots 18-10 in favor of La Ronge.
A few game notes
- Well the Klippers came out firing and should of been up 2-0 early on two glorious chances for the number one line.
- After the second glorious chance for the Klippers , the puck quickly was moved back the opposite way on a 3 on 1 and # 24 Hluden made no mistake going glove high to cash the games first goal.
- After that the momentum completely turned. The Klippers were awful in their own end down low. La Ronge was cycling the puck with ease and working it to the front of the net. The Klippers couldn't clear lose pucks in front which caused 2 goals.
- Overall a tough start for new Klippers net minder Alexandre Pec , but a few of those goals he was left out to dry.
- Jordon Hoffman dropped the mits against Richard Camerone right at center near the end of the frame. Jordon won the fight with ease , and was likely looking to give the Klippers some much needed momentum. We will see how they fair in the second.
