Klippers Add Third Tender

His name is Dustin Nickel and he is a 1991 born goalie who played for the Calgary Canucks of the AJHL last season. He played 41 games last year , had 17 Wins , 15 losses and 2 ties with a 3.81 GAA. The Canucks were off to an awful start this season and had four other goaltenders on their roster. Rockie Zinger had a chance to see him play a few games last year and he told me he is very strong down low and moves side to side very quickly. It's unknown if he will dress this weekend but I am assuming he likely will. There is 3 goalies on the trip so we will see what happens. He arrived from Calgary just this morning and is on the road trip.

  1. Watched him play last year with the Canucks. He's a pretty solid netminder. He had an excellent start to the season last year, then faltered, and started to return to form by the end of the year.

He occaisionally has some issues with rebounds and Rocky is bang on, his side to side is excellent.
