This is no suprise as Duzan has been on fire the past 3 games at home and will look to continue his rapid pace this week at home.
Duzzy recorded 7 goals and 3 assists in the past 3 contests.
Here are his numbers from the 3 games.
Tuesday vs Nipawin - 2 G in a 3-2 SO W. He also had the Shoot out winner.
Thursday vs Melville- 4 G 2 A in a 8-7 OT loss.
Saturday vs Melville- 1 G 1 A in a 6-2 W vs Melville
Duzan is the second Klipper to earn this honor so far this season as Sanfred King took home the award earlier on this season.
From the SJHL :
SHER-WOOD PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Taylor Duzan (Kindersley) - The tiniest Klipper was large this past week as Kindersley won two of three games. One of those three games saw the 1991 born forward from Saskatoon score four times while setting up two others in an 8-7 overtime loss to Melville. In all, Duzan had seven goals and three assists this past week.
SHER-WOOD DEFENCEMAN OF THE WEEK
Davis Vandane (Yorkton) - The Terriers won all three of their games this past week and one of the reasons why was the play of the 1992 born defenceman from Yorkton. Just returned to the team after a stint with the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades, Vandane has made an already strong defence stronger.
SHER-WOOD GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Charles Corsi (Melfort) – The 1990 born goaltender from Rosemere. Quebec is making an early bid to be the SJHL’s goaltender of the year. Corsi was in net for three Mustang wins stopping 78 of 80 shots and recording his first shutout of the season. This is the 3rd time this season he has won the award.
