Sean Flanagan To Dawn Team Canada Colors

Well usually when your having an afternoon nap , you don't like to get woken up, but this can be an exception as I received a flurry of texts saying that Sean Flanagan has made the Canada West roster.

First off congrats to the kid , he has worked very hard to become the hockey player he is , and deserves it completely. He has been having a great season for the Klippers getting better and better every game. He has become a staple on the back end for the Klippers this season, its hard to imagine he is only 18.

He is only one of three SJHL players to crack the squad, and the SJHL's only dmen on the roster. The other two SJHL players to crack the roster are Yorkton's Clarke Breitkreuz and Weyburn's Drew George.

The event starts early next week with Exhibition games in Penticton, B.C. The regular portion of the tournament runs from November 8-14. This means that Sean will be out of the Klippers line up for a few games. Sean will depart Monday morning and likely return on the 15th of November. That means he will miss 6 games for the Klippers , 4 at home and 2 on the road.

I am hoping to chat with Sean here very shortly.
