another learning experience, have to play all 60 min.Have to get puck deep not get it ripped at there blue line cum on 20's.They got late bounces also but do your jobs they won't create. This may help in playoff run-no shift off
ReplyDeleteHow about no two to three minute shifts. They were on for the second goal and still on for the winning goal. I don't care how good you think you are, longer than one minute and you can't do your job. Duh!
ReplyDeleteInjury bug has caught up to us, should get some bodies back this weekend-Go Klips
ReplyDeletewell to ANONYMOUS #2 you are a cowered, put a name up there, the 20's are the only reason this team has gotten us to this point...

Why would you put Braaten's name on this list? He's played one game. I agree with #2 on the long shifts though. It would be better to shorten the shift and then get out there again.

ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely correct that the Klippers are where they are because of their 20's but that is to be expected, you have to lean on them and believe me, the younger players do lean on them to lead the way. They have done a great job so far!
Anonymous does have a point as well though in regards to lengthy shifts. Shifts should NEVER go longer than 60 seconds unless you are applying pressure in the offensive zone. General rule of thumb is if you can't back check as hard as you rushed the puck then it's time for a change. Fresh legs will keep the pressure on teams and will create more turn overs which lead to more scoring chances. We need our 20's fresh the rest of the way and extended shifts won't help them any.
This is a good group here so let's get everybody in town out cheering them on.
Well put last poster. I hope Rocky is reading this!
