Klippers Score 4 Unanswered To Come Back And Win 6-5

Well what an emotional rollercoaster of a game. Klippers didn't give up and win a much needed game. I will have a ton of post game reaction early tomorrow morning. Gotta wake up at 4 am so I cant get it up tonight, but I have interviews from Rockie , Adamyk ,  McGrath and Johnny Calkins.

The Klippers are likely kicking themselves trailing 3-2 after 40 minutes. After twenty I didn't think that the Klippers would be in this situation, but the Klippers need to capitalize. They have been great creating the chances but cant barry.

The Klippers even managed to create a 4 on 1 rush, that was denied by Hildebrand.

Battlefords really started to come on near the end of that frame , especially on thr rush.

Klippers need to be a bit better in there own zone. A few bad give aways on the break away.

Overall though the Klippers have been good but need to buckle down and find mesh in the third period.

One more note Johnathon Sonntag destroyed Kyle Hall with the biggest hit the Klippers have had all season so far. Open ice hits are always oh so sweet.

Well make sure you are following the Twitter feed on the right side of the blog. If you don't have Twitter , no problem just read them off the blog.

Klippers fired 21 shots Hilldebrand's way and outshot the Stars 21-9.

The Klippers are playing great hockey in the offensive zone and on the rush , creating a ton of high quality scoring chances.

Despite missing a few key players in this one , the Klippers have come to play.

Johnny Calkins was a man on a mission in that first period. His mission - To set up every Klipper on the ice tonight. He already set up 3 or 4 players with great chances. Great 20 minute span for Calkins.

On the Battlefords side , not much to say. They had a really good 2 or 3 minute span deep in the Klippers zone early on in the first. Other than that though the big gunners for the Stars have been quiet

Also the first goal scored by Battlefords didn't look like it crossed the line. We pulled up the replay in the booth off of the camera feed , and it looked like it hit iron and bounced straight out. Unlucky bounce for the Klippers and a bad call by the refs.

More to come....
