I was able to check things out, even with all the workers working on getting the arena ready for the home opener on October 2nd. There is still a ton that needs to be done , but alot of work going on inside. The Klippers dressing room and training area is on the go and looks sharp, but I wasn't aloud to get pics of it yet due to a meeting going on inside. I will hopefully get a few up in the next few days.
The WHL opened up it's preaseon action last night...
Braeden Johnson was in action last night for the Saskatoon Blades in their exhibition opener in Prince Albert . I listened in to bits and pieces of the game on CKBI 900. He started the game on the first line but didn't register any points. No cuts have been made yet as far as I know but I still expect Johnson to make the squad.
