Andrew Dommett Returns To The Lineup Tonight When Klippers Host The Wings

VS

Previous Meetings
Oct.3rd - Klippers 11 - Wings 2
Oct.29th  - Wings 6 - Klippers 0

After a heartbreaking buzzer beater lose Wednesday Night , the Kindersley Klippers look to rebound in a very important division match up in the Sherwood Division against the Weyburn Red Wings. Tonight also will mark the return of Klippers captain and last years SJHL leading goal scorer Andrew Dommett. One point is all that separates the Klippers from the Wings. The two teams have met twice this season. In the first meeting at the WCEC , the Klippers exploded offensively scoring 8 goals in the final frame on route to an 11-2 victory. Back on October 29th the Wings got revenge back at their own barn, shutting the Klippers out 6-0. Tonight's contest marks game 5 a 6 game home stand for the Klippers.

On to Dommer, I recieved a call from a reliable source early this morning and was able to confirm it with Larry shortly after. It was decided just after todays morning skate that he would play. I had a chat with Andrew this afternoon and he told me he is very excited to return tonight especially on home ice in front of the Kindersley fans where he has yet to play this season. I will get an interview with him following tonight's game.

The Klippers will receive a huge boost tonight when Andrew Dommett makes his return to the lineup. Dommett has been sidelined dating back to the hit to the jaw he recieved back on September.19th in La Ronge. I have had a chance to chat with Dommett alot in the press box throughout the last little while and I can ensure you he is focused , determined and ready to go. He has been working out extra hard on and off the ice. You would think it might take him a while to get back into game shape , but he says he feels even better than he felt to start the season. Dommett started the year on a tear scoring 3 goals and 1 assist in only a game and one period. Getting Dommett back might just be what the Klippers need to get rolling.

On the Red Wings side. Drew George will return to the Wings lineup tonight after participating in the WJAC for Team Canada West. This is also a much different Wings team than we witnessed on the 3rd of October here at the WCEC. Rodney Cowie and Shawn Cowie re joined the Wings shorly after finishing up harvest. The two brothers played on the 29th at home in Weyburn and really looked good against the Klippers.

To see Andrew Dommett and the Klippers in action you have two options. 1 head to the WCEC tonight , or 2 watch and listen to the game live via webcast for $5. I will have a much more in depth pre game show before puck drop starting at 7:15.

Here is the link to watch tonight's game.
