Post Game Reaction - Klippers Lose In Nipawin

The Klippers fell to the Nipawin Hawks by a score of 6-5. The Hawks were winless in eight games and had only scored 42 goals on the SJHL season heading into last nights contest. The Hawks are the lowest scoring team in the SJHL and hadn't scored more than five goals in a game all season long , until last night.

The Klippers have really struggled defensively and frankly need to get better goaltending. Alex Pec has struggled of late and was pulled after giving up 4 goals. I do believe Alex Pec can turn things around , I have seen parts of his game I really like , but I think his confidence is really low right now and by the sounds of things , might be over thinking things to much in net. Nonetheless the Klippers have given up 23 goals in the past 4 games. That total is way to high and needs to be alot lower. It will be interesting to see which of the three goalies gets the start tonight in La Ronge.

The Klippers need to get out to better starts in these hockey games. The last few games the Klippers have had to play come back hockey. Now in Battlefords they turned things up in the third and won , but scoring 4 goals that fast wont happen every game as we seen last night. The Klippers though did make it close and had a ton of great chances to tie things up late in the third , but couldn't barry.

A somewhat short recap today , but I do have a couple interviews. Rockie Zinger assistant coach for the Klippers and also Ryan Benn, who was the best player on the ice last night.
