Klippers And Wings Game Notes - Braaten To Make Debut

- Well first off, Spencer Braaten will indeed be making his Klippers debut tonight. He will play on a line with Jordon Hoffman and Taylor Duzan. This line may be small but will have speed to kill.

- Other returning Klippers for tonight's game are Wheaton King and Riley Down

Lines up front are likely to be...

Dommett- Calkins - Adamyk
Braaten - Hoffman - Duzan
Elliot - S.King - W.King
Wasden - Kissick - Down

- This will be the 6th and final meeting of the season between these to teams, unless they indeed meet in the playoffs. Dating back to last weekends game in Weyburn both teams should carry over some bad blood into tonight's game. I expect the game to be physical, and a playoff like intensity. I would be shocked if it wasn't.

- It sounds like Rodney Cowie and Shawn Cowie have walked from the Red Wings club. In my mind this a huge lose for the team, both these guys have played great every time I had a chance to see them against the Klippers. They work hard, and really cause a ton of trouble in the offensive zone for opposing defenses. Who knows what this will mean to the chemistry of the Wings club, but they really are in need of a win to keep pace with Estevan for third spot. They are 2-6-1-1 in their past ten games and winless in their past 4.

- As for the Klippers it will be interesting to see how they respond to the lose in Humboldt on Tuesday. I expect them to be rejuvenated with the return of some healthy bodies.

- As for the WCEC, hopefully the crowd can get in to it tonight. It's a Friday and a big divisional rival with two teams that hate each other. The crowds around the SJHL have been giving it to the Klippers so hopefully Kindersley can do the same. If you cant make the game though I will have tonight's web cast starting with the pre game show at 7:10 when I will be joined by head coach Rockie Zinger.
