A tough knee injury down the stretch forced D Jay McGrath to wrap up his season earlier then he anticipated. After being forced to watch his team battle in the playoffs and an off season of rehab, McGrath is back in Kindersley with added motivation to get back to where he was last year. At this time it is unknown when McGrath will be able to suit up this campaign but the organization is anticipating it will be no longer than a month into the season. McGrath has the skill set to be one of the best players in the SJHL and will be relied upon to be a key contributor offensively when he gets back into the lineup.

I am very impressed with how well-spoken both Zane and DJ are. They are focused and ready for the season. Well done. I can hardly wait to get to the rink.
