  1. Should have been the 4 20's home and away. That is not a slight on Kissick and Elliot but they would carry the torch next year. Kind of like novice hockey where every kid gets to play goal. Maybe have the C's and A's with velcro so everybody gets a turn. Klippers blew it on this one!

  2. I agree with this guy 100%.Rocky has no clue how to coach. Why dont you just give everyone a letter moron.Rocky doesnt know talent at all!He let Benn go at the deadline last year and got nothing for him. Benn would have got 50-60 points thisyear.BAD MOVE MORON!Watch the players quit in bunches again!

  3. First poster should order Hooked on Phonics! That's a pretty harsh statement to make saying some of these players are brutal leaders. Looks like they'd all be pretty good in their own way. Never mind the letters, let's just focus on hockey.

  5. Benny would not have got 50 or 60 points, 30 points maybe. You seem to have gotten into a bad batch of homebrew! He was a great kid and all but let's not get carried away.

  8. benny walked off he wanted to go home and play rockie didnt let him go, rockie is doing great in alot of peoples minds, give the team support instead of bashing them and the rink all the time like god atleast we can say we have those 2 and if the klippers fold everyone who beaked will be the ones who say i miss hockey, support the team we have instead of constantly complaining its sickening this isnt facebook its our hometown hockey team page, go klippers go.

  9. kisik should have been captain next year and just been the captains that they have set for home games. elliot and kisik have a combined games of 60 games barley even one season in this league. some of these older guys have played 100+ games and shouldnt have rockie make them look up to 2 kids who had 8 points in the sj

  10. Wow, some pretty harsh comments for Rockie, the guy who is in the dressing room with these guys, on the road with these guys, on the ice with these guys; the guy the board has put in charge to make these decisions. I would think that if anyone has a chance of picking a player, or players, who are best suited to wear the letters is someone who has spent the amount of time playing and coaching the game of hockey that Rockie has and has spent the amount of time that Rockie has getting to know all these players. To call him a moron or try to predict dissension seems more like the ramblings of someone better suited to appear on an episode of Springer or some other talk show where the audience is filled with two toothed red necks and their girlfriend sisters who will say anything to be heard on some type of media forum. Perhaps your time would be better spent picking out a new tattoo about your dog or your mother and not trying to foster negative thoughts and attitudes for a bunch of kids who want to play a game they love and try to entertain the rest of us at the same time.
Remember, lets accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative; or in words more apt to hit home for you, try turning your frown upside down.

  11. Jay is on the money. The harsh comments made by the very first poster, which have since been removed, had a tone to them that suggests there is some underlying issue. It seems obvious to all that it was penned by someone who has some personal vendetta against Rockie and the Klippers. What a shame!

I agree with the poster when they said it should have been the 4 20 year old home captains wearing the letters home and away, like every team. Could never imagine Yzerman and Lidstrom sharing the C!

  12. well to all the post about captains, i personally hate the splitting of the letters just seems like the coach or coaches cant nail down decisions on there own. Imagine how poor Jordan Hoffman feels, going into his 3rd year, has paid his due's and has played in huge games and huge situations and deserves the full "C" not this half crap. Tanner Kissick maybe play 36 games last year and saw time on the 4th line, love how he plays but its just not right to have a guy like that wearing such a letter. Put a "A" on kissick for the year let him learn from hoff and the others and make him the "C" next year in this rebuilding process, sorry klipper fans you wont be watching playoff hockey this year. as for the "A"s duzan mysiork for sure. So here's how i would of done it if i was the coach Hoffman "C" Duzan"A" Mysiork"A" Kissick"A"

  13. Mysiorek, hoffman and duzan are the outright leaders of that team obviously. They have worn that jersey for more games than anyone else and have done everything the right way and to their fullest. Yes kissick should be the captain in the future but this year there is no doubt hoffman should be the captain. Makes zero sense to have 2 captains.

  14. Maybe the players should have voted? Just because someone wears a uniform longer than someone else doesn't entitle them to an automatic letter. The question to ask is will they be willing to lay it on the line every night or play when they feel like it.

  15. Unless you spend time in the dressing room or on the road with the team how can anyone know who the true leaders are.

Give it a rest, it's over and done with. Sick of it just like the last fiasco this team went through last winter.

  16. Ya its nice to have a blog but this is getting out of control. Most teams have something going on with players, coaches, etc. but don't all have Blogs. Would be nice if there was some in the city centers of the province, example Humboldt, Melfort. Humboldt just got a Dairy Queen a few years ago-Nice Town, oh is the water still running over the hiway there.

  17. ryan elliot with 20 games played wearing a letter on the road. jordon hoffman with 100+ games of doing absolutely anything for the klippers sharing his C with an 18 year old. wow.
