Second Period Update

After 2 we are still tied up at 2. A better period overall for the Klippers , they had the majority of the chances, they worked hard and drew alot of penalties but when it came down to it they werent able to capitalize. The Klippers powerplay needs to be better , they had 3 or 4 powerplays that period but could not barry. Some what sloppy play on the powerplay aswell. The Klippers need to simplize things on the PP, it seems like they were trying to hard to force things that period.

Scott Hellyer made some big saves when needed , including a huge glove save from a point shot on the powerplay.

Also early on Justin Gerwing got in a scrap against Kyle Threndyle. Both are 18 years of age , but Kyle certainly had the size advantage. Good for Gerwing to not back down, but he did take some good shots from Kyle. Gerwing battled back near the end and landed a solid right.

Shots at the end of 2 are 22-20 in favor of the Klippers.

More to come post game... will we see a third period like we seen Sunday?
