Klippers Hang On For Win Over Estevan

I won't have time to get into a full recap today, but here are a few quick notes from last night’s game leading into tonight’s contest.

- I thought this was a great hockey game, exciting, fast paced and very entertaining for fans to watch. If these two teams square off in the playoffs, it will be a very good series.

- Klippers controlled the play for the most part of the game, but both goaltenders were fantastic. Joel Danyluk was the busier of the two puck stoppers but Sean Cahill made his fair share of big saves to keep the Klippers in front.

- On D Jay Mcgrath, he hit the board’s awkwardly going hard on the fore check in the third period. He went legs in first and had to be helped off the ice. It’s unknown how long he will be out for as of right now, and D Jay will likely have to be re evaluated by doctors in the short future. None the less a huge loss for the Klippers if he is gone for an extensive period of time. He was playing great with both King brothers.

- The Klippers penalty kill was outstanding again last night, and large in part to Jordon Hoffman and Taylor Duzan. They were unreal last night on the PK, blocking shots, creating chances in the Bruins zone, and even drawing a few penalties to neglect the Bruins power play. Huge game from both players

- All three Klipper players on their big streaks extended them last night. Johnny Calkins will come into tonight’s game with a 14 game point streak ( 13 G .  22 A ) , Andrew Dommett a 13 game point streak ( 10 G . 13 A ) and Sanfred King a 12 game point streak ( 5 G . 12 A )

- I am expecting tonight’s game to be even more exciting than last nights. It's almost like a mini playoff series when you play a team back to back. I am expecting some more bad blood, big hits and a playoff like atmosphere from the WCEC.
